This information is what our enemy didn’t want you to know.Where it all began…
When God created the Earth, He made man and woman with the purpose of having a loving personal relationship with them. God created them in his own image Genesis 1 v26-28 and gave them everything they wanted and needed. With that though, God also gave them the choice to follow Him or to go their own way. Genesis 2 v16-17.
They chose to go their own way, totally disregarding God and ultimately offending Him by doing the things that completely disrespect everything He stands for. This meant that they had to be separated from God because God is pure and holy but they had become impure and full of darkness. Genesis 3 v6-7.
You are infected with a deadly but curable condition…
Being descendants of those people we are all born into this evil state known as sin and all of us continue to offend God. Romans 3 v23 Our lives and hearts are infected with this sin and that is why there is so much wickedness in this world. That is why so many people die everyday; that is why people kill, steal, lie, cheat, gossip and do all kinds of evil things Galatians 5 v19-21. On top of all that, the reason our lives are empty is because we are separated from God. Ultimately, our offence carries the penalty of death and eternal separation from God or hell Romans 6v23. There is nothing that we could do to get ourselves back into God’s good books, His standard is too high and we are all guilty of this offence.
The cure for the condition…
However, we have uncovered vital information that the enemy didn’t want you to know about. He wants you to remain in darkness with no hope, 1 Peter 5 v8 but we have found out that there is hope, there is a way to make amends with God. We have discovered that God loves us so much that He devised a plan to bridge our separation. His son Jesus, the only saviour for humanity, stepped in to rescue us. He became a man and went through all the things that we suffer because of sin. Hebrews 4 v15. Finally he was killed at the hands of men, giving up his life and dying a brutal death on a cross. He did that to take our place and receive the penalty that we deserve. What’s more, Jesus having died, conquered death by being resurrected three days later and now lives never to die again. 1 Corinthians 15 v3-4.
Your response…
Now there is a chance for you to enter into relationship with God through Jesus. God has forgiven us of our offence against Him. Your destiny no longer has to be eternal separation from God but you can have eternal life. John 3 v16. You no longer have to fear death. If you want to receive this forgiveness and enter into eternal life and a relationship with God, all you have to do is ask. You are free to call upon God. Romans 10 v13.
If you want to be free from your guilt and the offences you have committed against God. If you want to receive his forgiveness and turn from the life you now live, then speak to God, call out to Him and invite him into your life. You need to believe in Jesus Christ and confess with your mouth that belief Romans 10 v9-10. You have to be prepared to give your life over to Him that He would be able to fully clean up all the mess that sin has left and give you new life in Him. If you want to do this, pray this prayer:
A word of caution…
If you pray the prayer that follows you will be making a commitment to turn from your current life to a new life. A life where Jesus leads and you follow. A life guided not by your own opinions and decisions but instead led by the teachings of Jesus and His law of love. This is a change that will not be easy, it will require that you apply your will to choose each moment and at each turn to follow what is right and reject what is evil wrong or unjust. Galatians 5 v24. If you are bold enough to pray the prayer, from here on in God will give you His power to help you make the necessary changes. God loves you too much to leave you as you are. He will patiently work with you through your issues and help you live a different life.
All information is taken from an accurate source, namely The Bible, the absolute, inspired Word of God. If you prayed this prayer and received The Lord Jesus Christ into your life, you are now a Christian, you are now what the Bible calls “born again”. John 3 v3. This means that you have received a new life, you are a new person. Your old life is finished God has made all things new. 2 Corinthians 5 v 17.
The truth that has been hidden from you has now been exposed. The enemy can no longer hide it from you.
WHAT DO YOU DO NOW?
Young soldier, if you have just made this commitment to Jesus Christ, it is the best decision you have and will ever make and like the whole of heaven we are excited to welcome you into your new life as a follower of Jesus. However, this is just the beginning. We have just got three simple things that you need to do in order to start building on this new journey with God.1.GET A BIBLE
You may or may not already have a Bible. The Bible is what we know to be God’s inspired written word, therefore it is vital that you have one in order to get to know God. It is one of the main ways that God speaks to you. If you do not have one, buy one, it is completely necessary for your survival. See reading the Bible like eating food, it feeds your inner man (your spirit), so the more you take in, the stronger you grow. Once you have a Bible, spend some time every day reading it. The Bible is broken up into smaller books and chapters so you can read a small section whenever you choose, but however much you choose to read make sure you read it regularly, this will help your growth as a Christian.2.PRAY REGULARLY
Along with your Bible reading, it is important that you spend time praying. Prayer is simply talking or communicating with God. Just like any other relationship you have to communicate in order to develop that relationship. Well this is no different. Although you can’t see God, He is always with you, so feel free to talk to Him whenever you want, He loves to hear from you. As you spend time with God you can do other things to express your feelings towards Him. You can write, paint, dance, sing, rap, whatever form best connects you with God. Prayer also requires that you listen. Communication is a two-way exercise and you need to regularly take time out to stop and listen to God to speak to you. He will do this through the bible, through other people and through the situations we face in life.3.FIND A CHURCH
Along with the first two points, finding a church is very important. Going to church doesn’t make you a Christian or even more holy. The reason we go to church is to meet with other people who have relationship with God through Jesus. It enables you to be surrounded by like-minded people who can encourage you in your faith. When looking for a church, make sure it is a place that believes the whole Bible. Make sure that at the centre of everything they do that Jesus Christ is the main focus. At the service you will do things like worship God (which may consist of singing to God and telling Him how great He is); take part in communion (a simple service which remembers what Jesus did on the cross for us); listen to teaching from the Bible and just spending time with other Christians.These are just some very basic starting points for you to help you as a new Christian should you like to know more, we have a number of contact emails below to put you in contact with somebody that can give you more advice and help. Whatever you do make sure you find other Christians and let them know that you have made this decision. You must do something as there is an enemy who would seek to discourage you from following Jesus, don’t let him succeed.
